Therapeutic Day School: Discover Support for Students and Families
All students want a school where they belong. One size does not always fit all, and that’s why we are here. We are a smaller, structured therapeutic day school which meets both academic and therapeutic needs. The foundation of our therapeutic approach is Allendale’s REStArT Treatment Model. The components of our treatment model are infused throughout our therapeutic school day. A critical part of this model is focusing on the alliance with youth and their families to reach educational success.
Is Your Student a Good Fit for the Allendale Therapeutic Day School?
We serve students with special education needs which include emotional disabilities, specific learning disabilities, other health impairments, developmental delay and autism. We work with students who need academic and behavioral support to be more successful at school.
Stepping Stone Therapeutic Day School Classroom Size/Ratios
Our therapeutic day school classrooms have up to 10 students with one teacher and one or two Teacher Assistants. All of our staff receive on-going clinical training in the REStArT Model and are certified in Therapeutic Crisis Intervention.
