Responsibilities:

  • Within a self-contained classroom in a therapeutic day school provide individual and group special education instruction and therapeutic services for up to 10 students with paraprofessional assistance.
  • Oversee each student’s IEP development, implementation and case management.
  • Participate in supportive teacher mentor program, on-going professional development and other trainings to learn effective and trauma informed interventions and strategies for working with students within our therapeutic day school including Therapeutic Crisis Intervention (TCI) training.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree or higher in Education or related field.
  • LBS1 License/Endorsement or Short-Term Emergency License pursuing LBS1 Required.
  • Knowledge of Special Education laws, rules and regulations Health Specialist

Allendale offers a Student Loan Repayment Benefit for all employees hired as a full-time licensed LBS1 Teacher. This benefit offers up to $200/month, for up to five years OR a sign on bonus of $3,000! ( $1,500 payable upon hire, $1,500 payable upon 6 months of employment with the expectation of 1 year minimum employment with the Agency.)

Salary:

$47,213 – $76,700 annually
