Jason Keeler, LCSW
Jason Keeler is an Illinois Licensed Clinical Social Worker and became the President and CEO of Allendale Association in April 2017. Jason brings over 25 years of experience serving children and families in both the child welfare and behavioral health field providing direct service and program development activities. He works closely with the Allendale Executive Leadership team in overseeing the operational, financial and administrative functions as well as strategic planning activities for the organization. Jason serves on several local and statewide committees comprised of private and governmental organizations to help enhance the social service system in Illinois.

Senior VP, Finance & Business Services/CFO
Chris Schrantz brings over 25 years of experience in accounting and finance and has served Allendale since 1996. He directs the Finance and Accounting Services Department for our leading Illinois child welfare agency with 425 employees and an annual budget of $36 million. Chris works closely with program and executive management, and the Board of Trustees, in developing, forecasting, tracking and reporting the agency’s strategic fiscal goals and financial operating results. He also supervises the agency’s food service program and chairs the Dietary and Risk Management committees. Chris serves on various statewide financial committees comprised of representatives from private sector and governmental agencies, as well as on the Illinois Society of Certified Public Accountants Not-for-Profit Organizations Committee.

Senior VP, Human Resources & Support Services/COO
Connie Borucki is the agency COO, heading-up the organizations department of Human Resources & Support Services. She reports directly to the President/CEO. As a member of the Executive team since 1997, she leads the HR strategy including employee development, talent acquisition, inclusion and diversity, policy development, accreditation and compensation and benefits. In addition, Connie has administrative responsibility for the Facilities, Information Technology and Safety/Risk Management departments and co-chairs Allendale’s Safety/Risk Management Committee.

VP, Specialized Educational Services
Jennifer Stiemsma became Allendale’s VP of Specialized Educational Services in the summer of 2015 after serving Allendale for over 25 years. She began her career as a Child Care Counselor before transferring to Specialized Educational Services, originally serving as a teacher assistant in a special education self-contained classroom. From there, Jennifer continued her own education as she worked her way through the ranks at our Allendale, Elizabeth Morse Education Center. She brings a wealth of experience in the areas of psychology, special education, reading instruction and school administration.

Ron Howard, LCSW
VP, Placement Services
Ron Howard is as Licensed Clinical Social Worker who has over 35 years of experience in the child welfare industry. Ron began his career with the Allendale Association in 1979 starting as a Child Care Counselor advancing to his current position as Vice President of Residential Services. Ron has also served as a Public Service Administrator (Child Protection Division) with the Illinois Department of Children and Family Services (DCFS) and as the Residential Program Director of Lutheran Child and Family Services.

Howard Owens, LCPC
Associate VP, Program Operations, Residential Care & Treatment Services
Howard Owens has over 20 years of experience in the mental health field as a mental health worker at Allendale and Condell Behavioral Health Unit. While at Allendale, Howard has held several positions within the agency, including program manager, clinical program manager and director. In his current role as the Associate Vice President of Operations, Howard provides direct supervision to Allendale’s Unit Coordinators and Program Directors, while also overseeing the day to day functioning of operations on the Lake Villa Campus, North Chicago, Benet Lake and Waukegan group homes.

Judith Griffeth, LCSW
Associate VP, Continuous Quality Improvement
Judy Griffeth has served Allendale since 1991. She utilizes her knowledge of state agency policy and procedures to support oversight of case management, placement needs, and discharge monitoring for up to 170 youth in the residential program. She co-chairs the agency’s Behavior Treatment Committee as well as the Youth Advisory Council. Judy has pursued her commitment to systemic reform for adolescents and their families through service on various statewide committees and projects. She is currently a member of the DCFS Child Welfare Advisory Committee (CWAC) and serves on the CWAC high end subcommittee, Child Care Association policy committee, and ICG provider workgroups. Judy also serves as co-chair for the DCFS residential datatest committee.

Patricia Taglione, PsyD
Senior VP, Clinical & Community Services
Dr. Patricia Taglione has been with Allendale for over 30 years and is currently the Chief Psychologist. She is in charge of all the agency’s Clinical & Community Services and oversees the outpatient, specialized foster care, and therapeutic mentoring programs. She chairs Allendale’s outcomes committee and is one of the main developers of the REStArTSM Model. Pat co-authored several published articles documenting positive outcomes in Allendale’s residential program through the implementation of the agency’s REStArTSM Model.
