Residential Therapeutic Day Schools (Lake Villa & North Chicago)

Allendale’s Therapeutic Day School Programs work with the student and their families to help the student identify their goal(s) and the tasks involved to reach their goal(s). Our residential therapeutic day schools in the Chicago suburbs place an emphasis on student strengths and interests to help all students reach their full potential. We provide a supportive community that fosters positive peer relationships, enrichment activities, vocational experiences and individualized learning opportunities.

Students enrolled in our residential treatment programs also attend our youth Therapeutic Day Schools in Lake Villa & North Chicago. Our credentialed Special Education teachers and teacher’s assistants provide individualized instruction in small classroom settings with high staff-to-student ratios, and are equipped to provide comprehensive treatment for mental health and behavioral issues while incorporating educational services that facilitate ongoing academic progress.
