Group Home

Allendale Youth Group Homes provide individualized therapy, 24-hour supervision and trauma-informed support to troubled kids in a home-like setting. Based within the local community, Allendale Youth Group Homes provide a safe, structured, therapeutic environment where teens can receive help in making emotional and behavioral changes.

At our group homes for youth, residents are supported with a variety of individualized therapeutic intervention strategies, provided with many opportunities for the development of important life skills, and offered community-based experiences to enhance social skill development and knowledge of how to use important community resources. Depending on the educational needs of the youth, schooling is attended in the community or via specialized educational services available through Allendale’s Residential Therapeutic Day School program in Lake Villa.
