More Than a Job – A Labor of Love

From Left to Right Starting at the Top Left Corner – Sheridan Frank, Jeremy Dunne, Ashley Jolly, and Vanessa Young

How would you like to work at a place that provides you a challenging, yet gratifying experience, where you can grow both personally and professionally, while championing children and their families?

Our Work

Sheridan Frank, Family Development Specialist for Allendale finds her work environment particularly rewarding.

“My work with our children who have experienced so much trauma, has taught me so much about myself. Being that person who the kids can rely on and trust to feel safe and loved as they navigate their journey is what I do. But I accomplish this by collaborating with a team of other professionals who all want to propel our youth through this portal of second chances,” Frank said.

Aspiring Leaders Wanted

Along with Ashley Jolly, Director of Case Managers, their team is currently looking for people who aspire to become leaders in their profession.

“It starts at the top. Our President/CEO Jason Keeler shares our values and encourages us toward upward growth so that we have the mobility to reflect the changes we see happening in the world. Add to that the shared values and interdependency of our team, and you find yourself working in a supportive atmosphere that produces positive outcomes not only for our clients, but also for our employees,” Jolly said.

Continuing Your Education

Educator Jeremy Dunne and Therapist Breanna Drummond spoke of the excitement of their management team when they both shared their ambitions of obtaining advanced degrees.

“Their eyes lit up when we talked about pursuing a masters and a doctorate. This non-profit organization thrives on helping its team grow and gain new expertise,” they said. “Plus, we have an opportunity for tuition assistance through our employer.”

More Than a Paycheck

Vanessa Young, Talent Acquisition Specialist, who spent the past 14 years growing and moving up within the Allendale organization, reports that their team is “driven by their clients’ success.”

“So often people evaluate the value of a position by the pay that is associated with it. Yes, we all must pay our bills and put food on our tables, but as a non-profit, we can offer so much more,” Young said. “At Allendale, you can enjoy benefits that secure your future beyond today. Health insurance, matched retirement fund and tuition assistance for enhanced education are just a few.”

Work can be a “Labor of Love.” Make a career move that reimagines not only the lives of our children and their families, but yours as well!
