This Position Will: Provide leadership and day-to-day supervision and training of unit staff. Ensures the safety of the client and staff through the delivery of high-quality care and behavioral interventions based on Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) principles. Facilitate the coordination and communication among all members of the team to ensure consistent application of treatment as well as maintaining a structured environment that supports the developmental and therapeutic needs of children with autism.
Required:
- Bachelor’s degree in social work, psychology or related human services field plus 2 years of full-time experience in a residential child care program OR 5 years equivalent experience to include 2 years progressively responsible residential treatment experience with Allendale.
- Demonstrate skill in working with youth served.
- Demonstrate ability to work cooperatively with administration, staff and persons external to the program.
- Strong leadership and communication skills, proficiency in behavioral management techniques, and ability to work effectively in high-stress environments.
- Valid driver’s license with a good driving record
Salary:
$24.20 – $30.63/ hour
Additional $3.60/hour shift differential
