This Position Will: Provides direct care and supervision of clients within the milieu in accordance with the agency treatment program including Agency Behavior Treatment Plan (ABTP) and Universal Rules. Under direct supervision of Teaching staff, provides assistance with classroom management to ensure a quality learning environment for the students. Under the direct supervision of the Shift Supervisor, implements individual and group programming on the units during non-school days.

The Ideal Candidate Will Possess:

REQUIRED:

1. High School Diploma/GED
2. Demonstrated proficiency in skills for basic math, reading, language arts, other core academic subject areas or vocational education.
3. Valid Driver’s License and good driving record
4. Per DCFS regulations, must be at least 21years of age

DESIRED:

1. Experience in a therapeutic day school or residential setting
2. School Bus Driver Permit
3. Paraprofessional license

Salary:

$16.00/hour – $18.58/hour
$1.00 added to base pay when educator license is issued
