It is with great sadness that we share the passing of Allendale Board Member, Jodie L. Nedeau.
Jodie was a member of the Allendale Shelter Club for many years serving on various committees including Finance Committee, Special Event Committee, Boutique Treasurer, Strategic Planning Committee and Executive Committee. She was a major contributor and helped secure funding for Allendale’s Capital Campaign for the Shelter Club Commons cafeteria project.
Jodie served as Allendale Shelter Club President in 2013 and 2014. During her tenure as president, she started the Career/Job Readiness Day for the students at the school and orchestrated the major gift donation from the Allendale Shelter Club to Allendale for the remodeling of the old nursing offices for TR office space, the student’s Computer Lab and the “Chill Room” multi-purpose space.
In 2015, Jodie joined the Allendale Board of Trustees and continued serving as Secretary until her passing. Her contagious smile, optimism and passion for helping youth will be greatly missed.
