At Allendale, we are passionate about providing exceptional therapeutic programs and services that tap into each clients’ unique dreams and aspirations to support them on their journey towards healing. When clients are empowered to explore and build upon their personal interests and strengths, they become more vested in their treatment goals and are more likely to achieve long-term success.
We never stop looking out for those we serve.
Our core values center around providing the highest levels of quality service and care to our clients and families. And we can’t do this life-changing work without our dedicated staff, who are comprised of a diverse pool of professionals all with one common goal: to inspire hope, in the midst of adversity, by all means possible.
That’s not to say it’s always easy. Our work is at times challenging…even exhausting. But other days the exhaustion is replaced with exhilaration as the mission that drives us reveals itself in the most rewarding and personal ways: The day a family is reunited; in the halls of the courthouse that rejoices in celebration of the long-awaited finalized adoption of a child with his forever family or a student graduate who, despite the myriad of obstacles put in her path, steps lively through a procession with a diploma in her hand and hope for the future.
Sometimes we don’t realize the depth of the impact we’ve had until years later.
Rico Ellis, Director in Allendale’s Therapeutic Day School Program, received a visit from a former student, now 37 years old, who’s doing well living with family and has been holding down the same job for over 12 years.
“I love hearing from former students. It’s so rewarding to know that they continued to stay on the right path, looking back at the time they spent here with fond memories while acknowledging the significant impact Allendale had on their lives. To think I may have had a small role in that, makes it all worthwhile,” says Rico genuinely.
Allendale staff are “ALL-IN” through thick & thin.
Recently, we celebrated staff milestone anniversaries at our annual Employee Recognition Picnic, noting that 32% of our current staff have made a career at Allendale for 10 years or more, with 9% of those celebrating over 25 years of service, representing literally decades of affecting change and inspiring hope for countless children and families.
“I want to express my sincerest gratitude to those who have chosen Allendale to spend your professional lives, dedicated to our mission and important work that inspires hope for so many.” – Jason Keeler, Allendale CEO
