Session Overview
Increasing awareness of what creates an authentic sense of belonging is an important step in establishing a community where everyone can experience a sense of belonging. As guides and models for the youth we serve, understanding how to create belonging for the youth, families and each other helps Allendale excel. Mr. Reinert will share his knowledge and experience with how diversity, equity and inclusion creates a sense of belonging, provide examples, and engage us through the Creating Belonging™ model. Join the Lunch and Learn to develop an understanding of how belonging is created at the intersection of authenticity and acceptance. Together we’ll deepen self-awareness and develop a plan to accelerate belonging for all at Allendale.
Presenter Biography
Mr. Justin Reinert is a Talent Leader with 20 years of talent development experience. He earned a master’s in arts in Applied Professional Studies – Educating Adults from DePaul University and earned the CPTD, SPHR, and SHRM-SCP certifications in Human Resource Management throughout his career. Mr. Reinert has facilitated learning experiences at various organizations such as HSBC and Oracle. He currently serves as the Principal Officer & Founder of Performance Accelerated Learning, whose mission is to “help learners build high performing organizations where everyone belongs.” The business recently achieved certification as a LGBT Business Enterprise via the National LGBT Chamber of Commerce.
Last year, Mr. Reinert published his first book, Creating Belonging: A Practical Guide to Accelerate Belonging in Organizations and Communities, the content for the Lunch and Learn for Allendale.
