Join us for our next BCC Training/Presentation, “Addressing Body Image Distress in Therapy: Is Positive Body Image an Achievable Goal?”, which will be presented by Anne Kubal, Ph.D., on Friday, April 16, 2021 from 10:45 a.m. – 1:00 p.m.
Participants will be able to:
- Define body positivity and the origins of the movement
- Discuss the differences between body positivity and body neutrality treatment frameworks
- Create appropriate therapeutic goals that align with body positivity and body neutrality
- Identify how diversity factors impact effective treatment of body image distress
